Role and Location

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Imaging Practitioner to join our Medical Photography Service at NHS Lothian. The post is full-time, 37 hours per week (5 days over 7). The successful candidate will be based at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Edinburgh but will be required to provide cross-cover support to any NHS Lothian site.


Responsibilities

* Provide a comprehensive clinical photography / video and ophthalmic imaging service across five hospital sites within the city of Edinburgh and Livingston, West Lothian.


Qualifications and Experience

* Recognised degree-level qualification in ophthalmic imaging or Clinical Photography, with extensive experience and knowledge in Ophthalmic Imaging.
* Registration on the national Academy of Healthcare Science (ACHS) register.


Requirements and Regulations

* PVG Scheme membership/record required for the post; an application to Disclosure Scotland will be needed if not currently a member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult).
* To work in the United Kingdom, applicants must demonstrate appropriate permission to work in the country as required by law.
