Job Description
We are currently seeking a Production Tool Pre:Setter within the Machining Department.
* Pre:setting tools for FH Line, Vari:Axis and Versatech Machines within the machining Dept.
* Controlling stock levels, regrinds and reclamation of over 5000 tools.
* Working closely with our tooling suppliers.
* Liaising with machine operators, process engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth running of 14 CNC machining centres.
* Be responsible for the 5s of two pre:setting rooms in the machining department.
Essential Criteria
* Have history working in an industrial setting.
* Understand basic mechanical principles.
* Computer literate.
* Be hard working and conscientious.
Desirable Criteria
* Have some machining experience.
* Has worked changing cutting tools previously.
* Overhead crane experience.
