Sales Director role at TieTalent, Leeds. Salary circa £60,000 to £70,000 basic salary plus benefits.
Location: Leeds, England, United Kingdom.
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working and regular travel to visit clients.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a sales strategy to expand the company’s presence in the pharmaceutical packaging markets.
* Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with pharmaceutical, biotech, CROs, CMOs, and food industry leaders.
* Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closing, consistently achieving revenue and profitability targets.
* Build, nurture, and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts.
* Work closely with operations, R&D, and quality teams to ensure tailored, compliant solutions that meet customer requirements.
* Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategic planning and product development.
* Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team as the division grows.
* Represent the business at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.
* Report regularly to senior leadership on performance, forecasts, and market opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven sales leadership experience in the pharmaceutical packaging industry.
* Established network and strong relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences companies.
* Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Solid understanding of GDP, GMP, and regulatory compliance requirements for pharmaceutical packaging.
* Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
* Experience combining strategic planning with hands-on business development.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
The position is offering circa £60,000 to £70,000 basic salary plus benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our Leeds manufacturing site with the flexibility to work hybrid, allowing for regular travel to visit new and existing clients.
