Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint an additional Non-Executive Director to strengthen the breadth and depth of skills around the Board table. This is an opportunity to contribute to the governance and strategic leadership of a large, complex and values-led NHS organisation delivering mental health, community and specialist services across the South East and South West.
This is a part-time role, approximately 3 days per month.
As a Non-Executive Director, the post-holder will share collective responsibility for the performance, culture and long-term sustainability of the Trust, providing independent oversight, constructive challenge and strategic support to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting a culture of openness, learning and continuous improvement across the Trust
* Working collaboratively with executive leaders, clinicians and governors to strengthen quality governance
* Contributing fully to Board discussions on strategy, performance, risk and sustainabilityli>
* Acting as an ambassador for the Trust, engaging with partners across the health and care system, including integrated care systems, local authorities, the voluntary sector and academic partners
