MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with this large non-departmental public body in their search for a Communications Officer.
The role:
* Lead the planning and delivery of digital content across websites, social media, and email marketing channels.
* Create compelling multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and written copy, tailored to target audiences.
* Manage and update website content using WordPress, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency.
* Design high-quality digital assets using Canva and Adobe Design.
* Oversee video production and editing for campaigns, events, and promotional use across platforms.
* Monitor digital performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and inform strategy.
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop and execute effective communication plans.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential
* Relevant degree, equivalent qualification(s) or evidence of equivalent experience.
* Experience managing a portfolio of communications projects.
* Experience in a digital communications role.
* Experience working within a communications function working to tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
* Experience of employment in the public sector or agency.
* Experience using canva/wordpress
* Experience in Adobe Design
