The Company
My client is an international manufacturer that has been established for over 50 years. They are a cash‑rich, profitable firm with the UK alone turning over £100 million. They are in need of a mechanical bias maintenance engineer to compliment a 24/7 production site.
They employ circa 3 000 people in over 70 locations globally and run a highly technical FMCG manufacturing environment with an array of complex kit producing to a variety of sectors including food and beverage and e‑commerce.
Role Overview
As the Mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance of all machinery across the plant operating a permanent night shift.
Key Duties
* Maintaining an organized PPM schedule.
* Handling reactive maintenance tasks.
* Preparing handovers and shift reports.
* Ability to read, interpret and markup drawings.
Successful Candidate
* Engineering qualifications at Level 3+ or equivalent.
* Excellent mechanical fault‑finding skills.
* Ability to electrically fault find, working with sensors, relays, contactors and able to swap out like for like.
