This role involves transporting children with Special Educational and Disability Needs (SEND) to and from healthcare or educational facilities. It's a rewarding yet challenging opportunity where you can quickly become a valuable member of our team.
The position entails working full time Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist children with special educational needs during transport to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Drive carefully and considerately to transport children safely using our vehicles.
* Support children in boarding and alighting, providing physical assistance if needed.
* Maintain a calm, positive environment during transport, addressing behavioral or emotional needs.
* Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school staff.
* Follow all safety protocols, including seat belts and seating arrangements.
* Familiarity with safeguarding policies.
* Report incidents or concerns promptly to your line or Operations Manager.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Do you have what it takes?
* Full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points.
* Pass a DVLA D4 Medical.
* Obtain and hold a PHV Licence (assistance available).
* Display calm, considerate, and careful driving behavior.
* Effective and confident communication skills.
* Team collaboration skills.
* Pass an Enhanced DBS check, fully funded by EMED Group.
