Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position of MIG Welder. Our client is a trusted name in high-quality, durable furniture solutions. They specialise in creating reliable, well-crafted furniture frames for a range of environments, with a focus on precision, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Perform MIG welding operations on mild steel tube to create furniture frames.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
* Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using welding procedure specifications.
* Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety policies.
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
* Proven experience in MIG welding, ideally in a manufacturing or furniture production setting.
* Ability to read technical drawings and work to precise measurements.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work the specified hours.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Fridays off (long weekends or overtime every week).

Hythe, Kent CT21
Remuneration
£27,788.80 plus overtime when available. 4-day work week.
