Role Description
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to be based in an SEMH school located in North East England. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualised therapy plans, and working closely with children and adolescents in various settings. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments of children and adolescents in SEMH settings.
* Develop and implement individualised therapy plans.
* Work collaboratively with children, adolescents, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and outcomes.
* Engage children and adolescents using a variety of methods as part of a highly specialised assessment approach.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children and adolescents in diverse settings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
* Proficiency in maintaining detailed therapy documentation.
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
