Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Community & Intervention Worker to join our Future4Me Team.
What you'll be doing - Senior Community & Intervention Worker
The role involves providing day-to-day leadership, advice, guidance, and supervising a team of Community Sports Workers. You will develop and deliver targeted interventions with children, young people, and communities. The successful candidate will support a new project, collaborating with professionals from various agencies to support children and young people while addressing antisocial behaviour.
What we're looking for
* A relevant professional qualification in youth work, community sports development/coaching, or a related field at level 3 or above
* Nationally recognised coaching qualification(s)
* Experience in Children's services or a similar field
* Good people management skills, with experience in supporting, guiding, and mentoring others
* Understanding of issues affecting young people, risk-taking behaviour, and trauma-informed approaches
* Ability to manage performance and demonstrate achievement of key outcomes to stakeholders and commissioners
Our offer
