Description
* Manage budgeting, financial reporting and variance analysis, providing clear insights and regular updates to budget holders.
* Provide financial advice and support to stakeholders within the trust.
* Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring efficient day-to-day financial operations and high-quality support for internal stakeholders.
* Own the month-end process, including preparation of journals and monthly management accounts
* Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and provide analysis on any variances or areas requiring attention.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Either a Full Accountancy Qualification or be Part Qualified (CIMA/ ACCA/ACA/CIPFA)
* Prepared full management accounts
* Mentored or developed staff previously
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
* Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
