The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, offering clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Complying with legal and professional requirements and guidance in Boots.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and relevant experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required, with support available for training if not already completed.
Opportunities for further professional development include achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services, leading to eligibility to register with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician and potentially advancing to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role.
