About our Nursery
Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool at Belper Gibfield Lane are proud to hold Ofsted rating OUTSTANDING. The warm and friendly team look forward to welcoming a new Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner, assisting them in giving our children the best start in life for children in our Pre-school room.
You will find our day nursery in Belper on Gibfield Lane just a 3-minute drive from the town centre and a 25-minute drive from Derby City Centre. For those arriving by car, we have a parking facility available onsite. Rest assured, we have excellent public transportation links for those commuting, with just an 8-minute walk from Belper train station, and a short walk from the nearest bus stop at Herbert Strutt School serving routes 71 and. For alternative bus routes, Babington Hospital stop is just a 3-minute walk away.

What to expect as a Nursery Practitioner
7. As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
8. Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
9. Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
10. And most of all…have FUN!
*To apply for this role, you must hold a Level 2 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse*
