About the Role
We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity to join our growing, specialist mental health service at Sidaire, part of Venture-People. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with complex mental health needs, autism, ADHD, and related conditions to live independently and thrive in the community.
You’ll be based at our Sidaire Accommodation Service in Eastbourne, providing enhanced support to individuals during times of difficulty. This is a varied and meaningful role where compassion, flexibility, and dedication are key.
Job Opportunity
What You'll be Doing:
* Supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses to maintain tenancies and promote wellbeing.
* Delivering person-centred support plans with a recovery-focused approach.
* Encouraging goal-setting and engagement in social care activities.
* Managing risks and safeguarding wellbeing.
* Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams including care coordinators and clinicians.
* Maintaining accurate records and adhering to national guidelines and policies.

Essential Skills
Essential:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A flexible, proactive, and compassionate approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work a flexible rota including early, late, and night shifts.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting individuals with autism or mental health conditions.
* Qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or Health & Social Care.
* Knowledge of recovery tools and welfare/housing benefits systems.
