KS2 Class Teacher – February 2026 Start – Watford

Job Type: Full-time | Long Term
Start Date: February 2026
Salary: Pay to scale / Dependent on experience

Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school in Watford from February 2026. This long-term opportunity will run through to July 2026, giving you the chance to make a meaningful and lasting impact within Key Stage 2.

You will be supported by an experienced full-time Teaching Assistant and a collaborative senior leadership team who value creativity, professionalism, and a strong community ethos. The school actively encourages staff to share ideas, innovate in the classroom, and play a full role in wider school life.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum

* Differentiate learning to meet a wide range of abilities and needs

* Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

* Demonstrate high expectations and a commitment to excellent outcomes

* Engage in ongoing CPD to further develop teaching practice

* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community


What We’re Looking For:

* QTS, ECT, FQT, PGCE – all qualified teachers are welcome to apply

* Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum

* Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills

* A genuine passion for motivating and inspiring pupils at this crucial stage

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
