Teaching Assistant Level 3 – Birmingham Location: Birmingham (B1–B38 & surrounding areas) Type: Full-Time Salary: £88–£95 per day (depending on experience and/or qualifications) Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing The School and Role ABC Teachers are recruiting experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant Level 3 professionals to work across a range of mainstream, SEND and SEMH schools in Birmingham. As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers to deliver structured interventions, provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support, and help pupils access the curriculum. You may also be required to lead activities, support behaviour strategies, and contribute to planning and assessment where appropriate. This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants looking to take on additional responsibility within a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress Provide high-quality 1:1 and small-group support Assist with lesson planning, preparation and assessment Support pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Previous experience working in a school setting Confidence supporting learning across the curriculum Strong communication and organisational skills A proactive, flexible and nurturing approach A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Experience within SEND or SEMH settings is highly desirable but not essential. As a Teaching Assistant Level 3 with ABC Teachers, You Will Receive: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
