Job Description:
This role is offered by Crouch Waterfall, a subsidiary of Vulcain Engineering Group.
As part of the Vulcain family, Crouch Waterfall brings decades of specialist experience in Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineering to UK infrastructure projects. Crouch Waterfall specializes in Bridges, Rail, Infrastructure, Buildings, and Geotechnical Services, managing projects from conception to completion.
We are experiencing growth and are seeking a Bridge Engineer / Graduate Bridge Engineer (Structures) eager to grow with us and contribute to our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to UK projects including buildings, infrastructure, footbridges, road and rail bridges, station buildings, and level crossings.
* Gain experience in new bridge designs and assessment, repair, and strengthening of existing structures.
* Work with engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Attend site surveys and client meetings to build confidence and client-facing skills.
* Develop project management skills across the project lifecycle.
* Support technical tasks like structural inspections, feasibility studies, and design reviews.
You will join the Rail Team in Basingstoke, supported by senior engineers, with opportunities for career development.
Ideal Profile:
* BEng in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or relevant discipline.
* Graduate member of ICE or IStructE, or willing to work towards it.
* Interest or experience in Structural Design, especially bridges.
* Experience with Network Rail projects is a plus.
* Fluent in English and authorized to work in the UK.
