Blair West are supporting a leading Engineering & Industrial Services business, to find a Business Development Manager – Cranes & Lifting.
The role is central to driving business growth within their cranes and lifting sector. The position reports into senior management.
The opportunity:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the designated territory (Yorkshire), expanding market presence and increasing revenue.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, acting as a trusted advisor and providing tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns, presentations, and product demonstrations.
* Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts to align with customer needs and maximise profitability.
* Monitor sales activities, track performance metrics, and report on forecasts, market trends, and competitor analysis.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
* A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within cranes and lifting or Engineering.
* Strong understanding of crane and lifting equipment products and market dynamics (desirable).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
