Join to apply for the L&D Business Partner role at VolkerWessels UK. This role is based at Hoddesdon head office (4 days minimum onsite) with travel to projects and sites.

We are recruiting for an L&D Partner to join our VolkerFitzpatrick team. Reporting into the Engagement and Talent Manager, you will determine development needs in line with the business plan and define the best method of delivering the requirements.
About our role
You will own the VolkerFitzpatrick Training Plan and ensure delivery of training with appropriate evaluation and return on investment. You will manage induction and input into onboarding processes, and support the delivery of Group-wide training initiatives such as Leadership or Manager programmes.
Stakeholder management
You will build relationships across business units to understand the requirements of each operational and functional area.
Early careers / emerging talent
You will support the development of early careers (apprentice / graduate / ITP / work experience placements) and align with local commitments.
Development and performance reviews
You will own the competency frameworks and career pathways, working with the functional leads of each job family to keep them up to date and fit for purpose.
Talent and succession
You will contribute to talent management and succession planning activities within VolkerFitzpatrick.
About you
* Proven experience in an L&D role with delivery of in-house training (ideally across multi-site operations), plus stakeholder engagement and management.
* Experience from designing classroom content through to online webinars and videos.
* Strong interpersonal, adaptive, collaborative, communication and influencing skills.
* Relevant psychometric qualifications and a CIPD qualification are highly advantageous.
