Chef Manager Salary:£14 per hour Benefits:Sodexo benefits Hours:Monday to Friday Location:Bradford, BD4 6SE Job Purpose To deliver high-quality catering services in line with Sodexo standards and the Service Level Agreement, ensuring client satisfaction, food safety compliance, and effective unit management. Dimensions Responsible for operational delivery, staff management, and financial performance of the catering unit. Reporting Structure Reports to:General Services Manager / Account Manager Manages:Catering staff Context & Key Challenges Maintaining Sodexo brand and service standards Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations Managing costs, suppliers, and staffing effectively Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver meals to agreed standards and service times Manage special dietary requirements and allergen controls Control budgets, purchasing, stock, and weekly trading on eProfit Lead, train, review, and discipline staff in line with company policy Ensure accurate payroll and compliance with employment legislation Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and due diligence records Deliver hospitality catering as required, including outside normal hours Ensure security of cash, stock, and Sodexo-controlled areas Support GSM with site services and provide cover when required Key Accountabilities Consistent delivery of SLA and Sodexo service standards Full compliance with statutory and company policies Positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders Effective incident management and reporting Person Specification NVQ Chef qualification (or equivalent) Catering management and team leadership experience Budget management and financial awareness Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills Computer literate, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work under pressure
