Are you passionate about food and customer service? Join our vibrant catering team at Yeo Valley Primary School in Barnstaple, part of Cornerstone Academy Trust, and make a difference in our school community. We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our pupils and staff.
Your Role
* Assist in the preparation and serving of meals.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
* Support the catering team in daily operations and special events.
* Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.
What You’ll Bring
* A positive, team-oriented attitude.
* Experience in a catering or food service role (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
What We Offer
* Salary: £13.69 per hour including holiday allowance
* Hours: 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday in term time
