Senior Systems Engineer – Modelling
Location : Coventry – Hybrid working available
Salary : £45,000 - £52,000
Are you experienced in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)? This is your chance to join a forward-thinking team working on cutting-edge submarine platforms, using MBSE to solve complex challenges in defence engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Apply MBSE tools to support requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation
• Capture and model customer needs and translate them into system behaviour
• Integrate engineering models across the submarine platform
• Lead MBSE activities across projects and proposals
• Mentor others and promote best practices in model-based design
Your Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience applying MBSE in defence, maritime, or similar industries
• Knowledge of engineering lifecycles and system design practices
• Understanding of engineering standards and safety/environmental requirements
• (Desirable) Experience using SysML and tools like Enterprise Architect (EA)
