Change Manager / Managing Quantity Surveyor Gloucestershire Up to £85,000 plus company package We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager / Managing Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK's largest contractors working on £500m Highways scheme in Gloucestershire. This Change Manager role is working as part of the commercial team, and overseeing all change control within the business. The business is a leader in civil engineering and infrastructure sector. This Change Manager / Managing Quantity Surveyor role will be working on change and have to have excellent NEC knowledge. This scheme will be over 3 years initially, with a strong orderbook within the region following on from this scheme. The role will be working on major structures and technical elements. Following on from this scheme they will Role Purpose: Our client is looking for candidates with experience in managing all commercial aspects of the scheme and leading a team. Duties: • Measure, record & value work unsupervised in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures. • Measure & interpret specifications & drawings. • Translate measurement from drawings and Specifications and prepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of rates if required. • Review weekly, monthly, section programmes of works. • Plan commercial activities to meet monthly timescales. • Collation of Cost and Value Information. • Preparation of Cost reconciliation statements. • Submission and Agreement of Adjustment Events with Client. • Collect information required to specify procurement requirements. • Understand the steps / documentation required. • Assist Procurement function where required. • Collation of cost and value information. • Management of Sub Contractors Accounts. Experience: • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent. • Experience working as a Commercial Manager for a main contractor in the civil engineering or MEP environment.
