Summary
We are seeking an organised, flexible, enthusiastic and motivated Nurse or Anaesthetic Practitioner, preferably with post‑qualification experience in an acute care environment. A passion for providing excellence in patient care is essential. Experience in post anaesthetic care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Join our dynamic, professional and supportive team to help us deliver patient‑focused care within a modern progressive unit. The unit includes 11 theatres specialising in General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology, Breast, Day surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Special care dental service and Endoscopy, with an integrated Post Anaesthetic Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver patient‑focused care within the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit for both adult and paediatric patients.
* Support departmental leads in maintaining an efficient and effective service that delivers safe patient care within an environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing healthcare needs.
* Participate in out‑of‑hours and on‑call rosters as expected for the role.
* Provide support for a range of specialities within the hospital.
* Perform other duties as required to maintain high standards of patient care.
Qualifications
* Post‑qualification experience working in an acute care environment (preferred).
* Experience in post anaesthetic care desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
* Organised, flexible, enthusiastic and motivated.
* Strong passion for providing excellence in patient care.
