What Are We Looking For?
Our Mechanical Trades team is seeking a Fabricator to join our Muir of Ord facility on a permanent basis. You will work with an established team, fabricating and forming pipework and manifolds using hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
Key Duties Include:
* Fabricate components from customer samples and/or engineer’s drawings to client specifications.
* Perform maintenance and repair work on existing systems.
* Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in various process piping systems.
* Inspect materials and parts to ensure high standards.
* Safely use hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
* Assist other disciplines when required.
* Perform other tasks within your skill set as requested.
Requirements:
* SVQ or City and Guilds qualification in a relevant trade.
* Experience in general fabrication and pipework.
* Ability to interpret and reproduce components from engineering drawings or samples.
* Organized with the ability to plan fabrication sequences.
* Capable of self-checking work, maintaining high standards for environment, quality, and safety.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
