Senior Technical Infrastructure Consultant
Synchro have partnered with a client of ours who are hiring for a hands-on Senior Technical Infrastructure Consultant to join their growing organisation.
You'll work directly with customers designing, delivering and supporting hybrid infrastructure environments, with a strong focus on on-prem (VMware essential) and Microsoft Azure IaaS.
This is a varied consulting role for someone who enjoys autonomy, customer engagement, and learning new technologies in real-world environments.
What you'll do
Design, implement and support hybrid infrastructure solutions
Deliver Azure IaaS deployments and hybrid integrations
Provide expertise across compute, storage & networking
Support VMware plus at least one alternative platform (Hyper-V, OpenShift, etc.)
Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers
Contribute to solution development and best practices
What required
Experience in hybrid infrastructure / infrastructure consultancy
Strong VMware + Azure IaaS knowledge
Solid on-prem infrastructure background
Comfortable working directly with customers
Self-managed, organised, and delivery-focused
MSP/consultancy experience a strong plus
The client is based in Alcester, Warwickshire and this role offers hybrid remote working, with a blend of time spent in the office and working remotely, as well as time spent travelling to customer sites.
