An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate Commercial Property Solicitor with 5 years PQE to join my clients team in their Reading, Berkshire offices on a hybrid basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join my clients highly regarded Commercial Property team You will be supporting the partners on transactional matters and managing your own caseload autonomously, with support available where needed. Role & Responsibilities: • Managing a caseload of commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals. • Advising on and drafting commercial leases, lease renewals, and ancillary documents, including licences to assign, underlet, or carry out alterations. • Providing portfolio management for occupiers and landlords. • Providing corporate support on the property aspects of business transactions. • Advising on secured lending matters. • Identifying concerns and risks, and providing practical and commercial solutions. • Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and third parties involved in transactions. • Participating in business development activities and cultivating relationships. Skills, Attributes & Experience: • Significant commercial property experience, including a proven track record of working autonomously on complex transactions, with partner support available as needed. • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with clients and referrers in the commercial sector. • Strong drafting, verbal and written communication skills. • Organised and detail-oriented, with an ability to approach complex problems methodically. • Practical and commercial thinking, with resourcefulness and a strong work ethic. • A willingness to engage in marketing and business development activities.
