Trainee Dental Nurse
We are looking for an ambitious Trainee Dental Nurse to join our mixed private and nhs dental practice in Lytham. We are a family run business and have been given great oppitunities to expand to a 7 surgery practice over 3 floors. We pride ourselves on the top of the range digital technology throughout the practice which makes patients feel at ease and well looked after through their own journey here.
The main role is to assist the dentist/therapist in the surgery and provide a high level of care for our patients, along with excellent cross infection control. Dental Nursing is an excellent career opportunity opening avenues to further qualifications within the industry once completing an accredited qualification.
Training Provided:
* Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard, which includes:
* Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing
* Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required)
* End-Point Assessment (EPA)
* On the job training
You can expect daily duties to include:
* Work towards a nationally recognised qualification, leading to a registration with the GDC
* Decontamination and preparation of dental instruments & treatment rooms for a range of dental procedures
* Provide clinical chair-side support
* Update and edit patient records as needed
* Provide excellent patient care
