Primark is recruiting a Technology Delivery Manager to lead the Forecasting, Allocation & Replenishment project to deliver a new Smart Retail Ordering for Primark, driving change across systems, processes, and ways of working. The role includes strategic oversight, hands‑on delivery, managing a complex stakeholder landscape, enforcing strong project governance, and aligning cross‑functional teams to achieve outcomes that directly support Primark’s long‑term commercial and operational objectives.

What You’ll Do as a Technology Delivery Manager
* Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a major, business‑critical transformation project, ensuring alignment with customer availability objectives and owning scope, timeline, milestones, resource plans and critical dependencies.
* Establish and maintain strong governance frameworks, ensuring rigorous risk management, issue resolution and clear escalation paths.
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Primark and third‑party vendors to secure engagement and maintain momentum.
* Manage multifunctional delivery teams composed of internal and external resources, ensuring clear roles, accountabilities and transparent progress.
* Track project progress, KPIs and budgets, address variances and challenges, report to senior leadership, and ensure adherence to best practice and quality standards in technology delivery and implementation.
* Integrate change management, communication and training plans into the overarching project plan to support adoption and deliver lasting process improvements, while following and championing Primark’s delivery approach and continuously seeking opportunities to optimise performance.
What You’ll Bring
* Degree‑level education with 10+ years of project/programme management experience delivering complex solutions.
* Experience in a retail environment is essential; experience in allocation, replenishment and forecasting is desirable.
* Experience delivering scaled technology‑enabled change, including configuration, testing and deployment of SaaS solutions and associated integration. Extensive testing experience (ST, SIT, E2E, performance testing) is required.
* Experience in cutover/implementation methodologies, process redesign and operating model change, with strong familiarity with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, proven ability to influence at senior levels, manage cross‑functional teams and external partners, and navigate ambiguity and complexity while maintaining delivery momentum.
* Meticulous planning, allocation and resource management to ensure successful delivery, with considerable experience working with technology teams and third‑party vendors on major platform rollouts, strong commercial acumen and budget management on multi‑million‑pound projects, and high emotional intelligence, resilience and a collaborative leadership style.
