This part-time Classroom Support Assistant role is designed with flexibility in mind — ideal for students who want to start their journey into teaching with real classroom exposure.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to support their learning
* Assisting with classroom activities such as phonics, literacy and numeracy
* Gaining valuable experience in behaviour management, SEN support, and differentiated teaching

Requirements:
* Availability for part-time work during school hours (Mon–Fri, term-time)
* A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
* The ability to travel to schools in the Newton Abbot area
* A positive and proactive attitude with a genuine desire to work in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
