I’m supporting a fast-growing data & AI technology company that is looking to hire a Senior Director to lead their Public Sector Sales function in the UK. This is a true player/manager position—driving high-value deals while leading a strong team of Sales Directors across the region.
The Role:
My client is looking for someone who can shape their go-to-market strategy, build a strong pipeline, grow revenue, and strengthen relationships across central government, defence, and wider public-sector organisations. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in building a high-performing, growth-focused sales culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the UK Public Sector sales team
* Drive revenue growth and close complex, strategic deals
* Build trusted relationships within government and public-sector bodies
* Work cross-functionally with leadership, product, and solutions teams
* Hybrid role with regular UK travel
Ideal Background:
* Strong experience in UK public sector sales & procurement cycles
* Proven success leading and scaling sales teams
* Background in complex solution selling (software, analytics, AI, etc.)
* Strategic mindset but comfortable being hands-on
* Resilient, proactive, and commercially sharp
* Bonus: experience in data, analytics, AI, or counter-fraud tech
