Your new role
As Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the planning, coordination, and execution of weddings and other special events hosted at the hotel. The role includes liaising with clients, vendors, and hotel departments and ensuring a seamless experience for guests. As Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will manage all pre-event sales & enquiries, conduct initial client consultations, provide tailored proposals / pricing, arrange and carry-out venue show-arounds. You will be responsible for preparing contracts and ensuring signed copies are received. You will create payment schedules, confirm all event details in writing with clients, update functions sheets accurately and distribute to all relevant departments accordingly. You will conduct final event meetings and confirm details with all relevant people. Manage supplier and vendor arrangements, ensuringpliance with regulations and co-ordinate times with hotel operations. You will be in attendance at the start of events, ensuring smooth operations. As part of your role, you willplete post-event reviews andpliance ensuring everything is in order, maintaining GDPRpliance with client data. You will also work closely with the Sales Director/Hotel Manager, contributing to monthly departmental meetings with feedback, conversion rates and revenue performance.
