Were hiring a UAT Analyst to own User Acceptance Testing for the replacement of a UK Motor Claims platform used by an operational insurance team. A third-party development partner is building the new system. Your role is to take ownership of UAT on behalf of the business and ensure what goes live is fit for purpose. This is not an automation role. This is not a senior Test Manager position. This is hands-on, business-facing UAT ownership within a live insurance environment. What Youll Be Responsible For Owning end-to-end UAT cycles from planning through to go-live Writing structured UAT test plans and detailed test scripts from business requirements Executing UAT and tracking delivery against agreed scope and timelines Logging, managing and retesting defects with an external development team Acting as the bridge between operational SMEs and technical teams Providing structured reporting to support go-live decisions Ensuring the delivered system works in real operational scenarios not just on paper What Were Looking For Proven experience owning UAT cycles (not just supporting) Strong documentation and structured test planning skills Experience managing full defect lifecycles Confidence working with third-party vendors Background within insurance, claims, or another regulated environment Exposure to motor insurance or motor claims systems is highly desirable The Detail Permanent position Fully remote Occasional travel to Southampton or Birmingham Salary up to £40,000 Immediate start preferred
