At Banana Moon, we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Room Leader to join our dynamic team and support the growth and development of our little learners.
Your Role:
* Lead your room effectively and create a positive learning atmosphere.
* Plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Work collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality care and education.
* Maintain a strong partnership with parents and guardians through regular communication and updates.
* Ensure that all activities are safe and stimulating, encouraging children to explore, play, and learn.
* Support the staff in their professional development, mentoring them and providing guidance as necessary.
* Adhere to nursery policies and procedures and ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations.
* Develop relationships with children that help them feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

What We Are Looking For:
* A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a leadership role.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Passion for working with young children and helping them develop and grow.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety regulations.
* Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate your team.
