Looking for a new driving opportunity? Join our client in Swanley as a Multi-Drop 3.5t Van Driver and deliver exceptional service!
About the Role:
As a 3.5t multi-drop van driver, you'll play a vital role in delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers across London and the Southeast. Working alongside a driver’s mate, you’ll help load and unload the van, ensuring timely and damage-free deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Pay: £15phr
Temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate!
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (rotational weekend shifts and a day off in the week)
Responsibilities
* Efficient Deliveries: Complete 10-20 drops per day, delivering goods to the correct locations on schedule.
* Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure it’s roadworthy, clean, and professional.
* Issue Reporting: Inform management immediately of any vehicle or delivery concerns.
* Safe Handling: Load and unload goods carefully to avoid damage.
* Customer Service Excellence: Interact with customers in a polite, professional, and helpful manner.
* Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the client and customers.
About You
* Hold a valid manual UK driving licence (min 1 year driving experience).
* Previous multi-drop driving experience is desirable but not required.
* Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving heavy items.
* Organised, punctual, and skilled at managing your time effectively.
* Friendly, professional, and great at delivering top-tier customer service.
