Control Systems & Project Engineer Warwickshire £55 As a key member of our Engineering Team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of our control systems and machinery. Along with working across a variety of capital and improvement projects, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic upgrades. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and maintenance support for production and process control systems Replace, upgrade, and configure PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar) Design and implement system upgrades for enhanced performance and reliability Collaborate in the design, specification, and installation of new machinery and control systems Ensure all systems comply with machinery safety regulations and current safety standards Provide technical input on capital investment projects, from conception to commissioning Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site Working Experience & Knowledge Proven experience in controls systems engineering within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment Strong hands-on skills with PLC diagnostics, fault finding, and programming Knowledge of machinery safety, PUWER, LOLER, industry regulations Experience with capital projects - from design and procurement to installation and commissioning Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a project team A commitment to health, safety, and compliance in every aspect of your work Qualifications: Engineering qualifications such as: Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical, Controls, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent experience) Additional certifications in machine safety or automation systems are advantageous
