Cornwallis Academy is a ‘Good’ school on the outskirts of Loose, Maidstone with over 1300 students on roll aged 11 to 18. Cornwallis’ aim is to provide all students with the best educational provision.

We are seeking a qualified Teacher of Vocational to include Business, Travel and/or Health and Social Care who can adapt to the different qualifications on offer within the department to join us on a fixed term basis to cover a period of parental leave. This opportunity incorporates Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 learning with a focus on GCSE and BTEC delivery. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the subject, who will inspire our young people and be a valued addition to our well‑established team.
The post can be either part time or full time, this will be discussed at interview and offers opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher looking for career advancement. This is an exciting opportunity for a ECT or an experienced teacher, there is also the potential opportunity for Key Stage 4 responsibility for the right candidate.
