The Curriculum Operations Coordinator reports to the Director of Curriculum and will work closely with them in curriculum planning and logistics to ensure the smooth execution of academic courses during the summer programmes. This position is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual with problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree or higher, with significant experience in logistics and administration, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. You should proactively anticipate challenges, resolve issues independently, and ensure all educational program elements run smoothly. A background in education or educational operations is desirable but not essential.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This is a temporary position from 30th June to 16th August. Some weekend work may be required due to the role's nature.
KEY DUTIES
1. Collaborate with teachers to anticipate resource needs across courses.
2. Conduct resource audits and maintain inventory for efficient procurement and minimal wastage.
3. Update resource information and replenish supplies as needed.
4. Order and prepare materials and equipment in advance to support courses.
5. Oversee classroom setup and ensure teaching spaces are equipped and ready.
6. Manage the functionality of all equipment, including projectors, screens, and other resources.
7. Work with STEM staff to meet specific classroom requirements.
8. Arrange transportation and tickets for course-related trips.
9. Organize supervision and logistics for educational excursions.
10. Address operational issues promptly and effectively.
11. Identify risks and implement contingency plans.
12. Respond to teacher requests efficiently, balancing priorities.
13. Coordinate communication between teaching staff and other departments.
14. Keep senior staff informed about curriculum updates and program goals.
15. Coordinate with the supervisors’ team on deliveries and resource distribution.
16. Proactively address operational needs.
17. Suggest and implement process improvements for curriculum operations.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of managing data and designing schedules.

* Previous experience in similar roles or educational settings is preferred.
Experience and Knowledge
* Graduate level or higher (2:1+), desirable.
* Knowledge of Cambridge city, its colleges, and history, desirable.
* Experience working in an office, desirable.
* Experience working with young people, desirable.
