We have a great opportunity for an experienced & motivated Account Executive with a general Commercial background to join Jensten Group. The role is based at our Cheadle Hulme office, with hybrid working options for flexibility.
The main purpose is to retain and grow an existing book of business, focusing on growth. The book comprises long-standing clients with strong relationships. You will work closely with a team of dedicated Account Handlers to achieve desired outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
1. Offering and presenting insurance solutions, including policies and risk management, to secure renewals and new business. Communicating regularly with colleagues and managers to address concerns and propose solutions.
2. Identifying and pursuing cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. Utilizing leads provided by the company and developing new methods to increase quote volume.
3. Achieving or exceeding targets for quotes, sales, and income from all marketing sources, including personal prospecting.
4. Understanding clients’ business operations, opportunities, risks, and risk management approaches.
5. Ensuring compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations such as FCA.
About you
You will inherit existing clients and develop your own connections, building and strengthening relationships through client visits and regular communication. You should have a passion for providing solutions and spotting opportunities to benefit clients. You’ll ideally have:
* Experience in the insurance industry, especially in Commercial insurance
* A passion for new business development
* An existing client base to bring and grow
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
* A drive to learn and develop within insurance and sales
* Previous experience in a similar role working with insurers and clients
* Good attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
* Knowledge of Acturis system (preferred)
