Your Role
The Test and Release Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all testing and release activities for Infor Syteline 10 (Keystone delivery and Infor patch releases). You will work cross-functionally with IT and Data teams, Global Process Owners and Business Subject Matter Experts, End Users to ensure robust testing of all system elements and managing release schedules to guarantee a smooth and successful implementation. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and expertise in ERP testing and release management.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage and execute the overall test strategy and release plan for Infor SyteLine 10 deployment.
* Define, document, plan and schedule test phases that are appropriate for the scale and risk of each deployment.
* Coordinate System Verification and Validation, Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Cutover Test (CuT) and regression testing activities.
* Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all modules including sales, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality and technical.
* Define and enforce quality standards for test scenarios, scripts, test data, and defect management.
* Manage release cycles, including planning, scheduling, and communication of release activities.
* Collaborate with functional leads, IT teams, and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure readiness.
* Monitor and report on testing progress, risks, and mitigation plans to the ERP Programme Manager.
* Facilitate workshops and training sessions for testing best practices and release readiness.
* Ensure compliance with governance and documentation standards throughout the testing and release process.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent communication with the ability to build great relationships.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and want to make changes for better.
* Proven experience in ERP testing and release management (preferably Infor Syteline or similar).
* Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and defect tracking systems.
* Experience in managing complex release cycles and coordinating multiple teams.
* Experience of test automation tooling.
* Understanding of good configuration management practices.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP data structures is desirable.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
* Certifications in software testing or release management (eg. ISTQB, ITIL) are desirable.
* Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is preferred.
