Arm’s Image Signal Processor (ISP) group provides image processing technology for a range of sectors and use cases, including surveillance cameras, drones and automobiles. The SoCs at the heart of these devices use our intellectual property in the form of software and hardware designs, which is the culmination of man‑decades of research and experimentation in the field of imaging. This role is an opportunity to work with multiple teams across the ISP group to define and implement control software and tools for our leading ISPs, delivering drivers for sophisticated ISP pipelines and contributing to automotive applications and ISP solutions.
Responsibilities
* Develop C‑based device drivers for Automotive and IoT ISP pipelines
* Develop and maintain testing and performance profiling frameworks
* Image sensor driver development for IoT and Automotive markets
* Be involved in driver and 3A algorithm integration with other ISP products or Arm IP (Fast Model, tools, models)
* Work with image quality specialists to determine requirements for HW block configuration and control flows based on real images that would test image quality features of the block
* Daily usage of software practices that produce maintainable code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style conformity, and code review
Work Environment
Arm’s approach to hybrid working is designed to create a working environment that supports both high performance and personal wellbeing. We believe in bringing people together face to face to enable us to work at pace, while recognizing the value of flexibility. Within that framework, we empower groups/teams to determine their own hybrid working patterns, depending on the work and the team's needs. Details of what this means for each role will be shared upon application. In some cases, the flexibility we can offer is limited by local legal, regulatory, tax, or other considerations, and where this is the case, we will collaborate with you to find the best solution. Please talk to us to find out more about what this could look like for you.
