Performs a variety of routine office support duties within the School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Science (SFAAS).
Essential Functions
1. Serve as a point of contact for the school.
2. Greet undergraduate and graduate student learners, and school visitors in person or via telephone.
3. Assist the Director, faculty, and students of SFAAS on an as-needed basis.
4. Monitor work orders and general maintenance needs as they arise.
5. Provide administrative assistance, including travel vouchers, purchasing card reconciliation, vendor vouchers, and related documents. Support Finance, HR, and Admin staff as needed.
6. Support faculty, staff, and students with travel arrangements and reimbursements; book travel (hotels, flights, buses) for trips.
7. Assist the Director with internal and external communications, including blogs, newsletters, website content, and social media.
8. Follow up on student inquiries and communicate policies and procedures effectively.

Minimum Qualifications
* Experience working and interacting with students.
* Knowledge of customer service and office-related duties.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Self Service Banner/AU Access, Kronos, Word, Excel, Outlook, Wordpress, social media, website maintenance, PowerPoint, PeopleAdmin, and familiarity with AU policies and procedures are preferred.
Salary Range
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Hours
7:45 AM to 4:45 PM (hours may vary as needed)
