We’re currently working with a welcoming SEN school in Benfleet that is seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join their team.
This role is ideal for anyone with experience or interest in roles such as LSA, Teaching Assistant, SEND Support Worker, Youth Worker, Care Assistant, or Graduates looking to build a career in education.
About the School
The school specialises in supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), providing a structured, nurturing environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
The Role
* Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
* Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Helping to improve engagement, behaviour, and learning outcomes
* Working alongside experienced teachers and SEN professionals
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Gaining valuable experience in a specialist education setting
What We’re Looking For
* A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Transferable experience welcomed (care, youth work, support work, etc.)
* No school experience required – full support provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
