We’re currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Maths Tutors in Sunderland and surrounding areas to support a growing number of students needing academic help. You’ll be expected to bring energy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and student development. Pay Rate: £25–£30 per hour (Some students may require sessions at home or local libraries, so a full UK driving licence is desirable.) What We’re Looking For: Strong command of English to communicate clearly with students Based in the UK with a permanent home address A natural motivator with a desire to inspire and support young people Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply—support provided) Experience working with children/young people, especially those with SEND, SEMH or additional needs UK teaching experience is a plus Classroom or 1-to-1 tutoring experience preferred Solid knowledge of the Maths curriculum and relevant exam boards Two professional references covering at least 24 months of your most recent employment (from the last 10 years) Why Join TP Tutors?
