Purpose of Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team supporting Shell forecourt sites. This mobile role focuses predominantly on the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of EV charging infrastructure, alongside general maintenance tasks across multiple locations within the region.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the UK’s expanding electric vehicle charging network while delivering high-quality facilities maintenance services.
Responsibilities
•Carry out inspection, testing, maintenance, and fault-finding on EV charging points across Shell forecourts.
•Perform electrical testing and certification in line with current regulations and standards.
•Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
•Undertake general multi-skilled maintenance tasks including minor repairs and site maintenance as required.
•Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
•Ensure all works are completed safely and in compliance with relevant health & safety regulations.
•Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using company systems.
•Liaise professionally with clients, site staff, and internal teams.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
•Fully qualified electrician.
•2391 Inspection & Testing certification (or equivalent).
•Proven experience in electrical maintenance and testing.
•Multi-skilled maintenance experience desirable.
•Full UK driving licence.
•Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites.
•Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
•Good communication and customer service skills.
