A well-respected accountancy practice based in Walsall is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on more responsibility while working with a varied portfolio of SME clients in a stable and supportive practice where your contribution will be valued.
What we need from you:
* Ideally at least 5 years experience working within an accountancy practice
* Confident communicating with clients at all levels strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to develop your technical and leadership abilities
* Experience with practice software e.g. TaxCalc, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage. (Training will be provided)
What this role involves:
* Prepare and review statutory accounts for a diverse range of businesses, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* VAT compliance, preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns
* Tax computations for limited companies, partnerships, and individuals
* Handle direct client communication building strong relationships and providing proactive advice
* Assist with ad-hoc projects
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am 5pm.
