Accounts Assistant – Grimsby –£25,000 to £30,000
Chase & Holland are excited to be exclusively working alongside a fast-growing FMCG business, based in Grimsby, who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role will offer the candidate the chance to get hands on with the finance function and become a crucial part in plans to drive the business forward.

Free parkingAccounts Assistant responsibilities will include:
Raising and processing daily sales invoices, ensuring correct pricing
Processing of credit notes and debit notes
Checking, reconciling, and processing supplier bills
Assisting with weekly cashflow and payment schedules
Monitoring accounts receivables, allocation of customer receipts
Weekly and monthly bank reconciliation
Preparing statutory or regulatory forms as and when required
Assist with preparing employee wages
Managing employee expense claims
Credit control management
Helping finance colleagues in preparing and circulating periodic reports, including the monthly management information pack
Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by members of the finance teamRequired Skills & Experience:
Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing business would be a significant advantage
AAT qualified is an advantage but not essential
Highly numerate and organised
Strong IT skills, including excel and ability to manage data
Organised and flexible approach to work, with the ability to plan and prioritise
Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues
