Role
* Responsible for coordinating daily production, dispatch of customer orders, and management of labour and materials.
* Monitor and manage RM and FG stock levels, and attend daily production meetings.
* There will be scope for the right candidate to progress to a Planning Manager role in the future.
Responsibilities
* Daily management and monitoring of RM Stock levels.
* Daily management and monitoring of FG Stock levels.
* Ensuring all products are produced in line with Product specifications & QAS sheets.
* Reducing operational downtime through contingency management.
* Minimise labour costs, production hours, and use of agency staff.
* Monitoring and reducing waste on packaging, ingredients, equipment, consumables, parts, and damage.
Requirements
* Experience in a Planning role
* Experience within the food industry.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Aptitude for creative thinking & problem-solving.
* Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
