This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly created Development department as a Fundraising Officer responsible for managing the fundraising programme, including digital and postal appeals and initiatives. This is a permanent, full-time role.
This position will involve, but is not limited to:
1. Design, implement, and manage a new fundraising programme, proactively planning an annual cycle of activities to increase donor participation.
2. Lead the delivery of core fundraising initiatives.
3. Write persuasive and engaging copy for digital and print appeals.
4. Ensure all donations are accurately recorded and acknowledged promptly and meaningfully.
5. Coordinate and manage events and communications related to donor giving circles and advocacy groups.
6. Work outside of normal hours as needed to support departmental events, with time off in lieu (TOIL) provided.
