Transport Administrator
CTRG are looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join a leading drinks logistics company on an ongoing maternity cover contract.
You'll be working within a busy distribution team, supporting the delivery of customer orders and working closely with HGV drivers.
Location: WA7 Runcorn
Key Responsibilities
Use SAP to complete transport and delivery admin tasks
Carry out customer follow-ups and handle delivery queries
Complete internal systems training (provided)
Conduct driver debriefs at the end of shifts
Communicate plans and daily updates with delivery teams
Support driver crews each morning, including:
Route changes
Vehicle swaps
Managing crew sickness
Responding to vehicle breakdowns
Provide general administration support to the wider office team
Assist with compliance processes (Drivers, HGV, Freight)
Shift Pattern
4 on / 4 off
Alternating weekly shifts:
06:00-14:00
14:00-22:00
Flexibility required for occasional later finishes
What you need:
Previous experience in transport administration within Industrial or Logistics sectors (essential)
SAP knowledge
Strong attention to detail with data accuracy and report completion
Compliance experience preferred but not essential (freight, drivers, vehicle standards)
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Looking for ongoing, long-term work
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Computer literate, including running and interpreting reports
Pay Rate:
£17.43 per hour
